Relations Manager - Business Relations

Job Purpose:

To manage strategic relationships with Business Groups, Business Councils, and International Trade Offices, serving as the primary interface between the business community and Dubai Chambers. The role supports Dubai Chambers’ advocacy objectives by identifying business challenges, facilitating dialogue with relevant government stakeholders, and driving proactive initiatives that enhance the competitiveness of Dubai’s business ecosystem.

Stakeholder & Relationship Management

• Act as the primary focal point for business groups, councils, and trade offices
• Manage ongoing relationships and address daily operational and strategic requirements
• Represent Dubai Chambers at AGMs and key stakeholder engagements

Advocacy & Business Intelligence

• Analyze challenges faced by the business community and recommend policy or operational actions
• Facilitate dialogue between businesses and relevant government entities
• Initiate proactive advocacy initiatives aligned with sector priorities

Events, Engagement & Programs

• Identify themes for roundtables and forums aligned with KPIs
• Develop outcome reports and policy briefs following engagements
• Support major initiatives (strategic projects)
• Support in organizing the annual flagship event  

Governance, Compliance & Reporting

• Review by-laws and documentation in line with Chambers regulations
• Coordinate legal approvals and ensure compliance
• Prepare accurate and timely reports aligned with Dubai Chambers’ standards
• Review all documentation provided by business groups and councils and ensure compliance with chamber by-laws and regulations for new establishments and renewals.

Qualification & Experience:

Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in international relations, business or related field

Minimum Experience and Skills

• 3 -5 years’ experience in corporate affairs, client relations or marketing field, government relations, advocacy, or stakeholder engagement roles.
• Strong negotiation, customer service, coaching and presentation skills
• Fluent in English and Arabic (reading, spoken and written)
