Job Purpose:
TThe role holder is responsible for supporting the development and execution of social media strategies and initiatives to facilitate business requirements, ensuring that is aligned with established standards and guidelines
.
Key Accountabilities:
Social Media Management
- Coordinate the execution of daily activities related to social media campaigns such as online advocacy, writing editorial, community-outreach efforts, promotions, etc.
- Drive the growth and adoption of social media channels as a marketing and communications tool and increasing usage of remote channels.
- Prepare social media content to be uploaded on websites in line with the requirements and in adherence to the standards.
- Monitor Dubai Chambers social media presence in websites and other social media platforms and ensure that content is uploaded in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure effective liaison with other departments and sections to get regular updates on each of their news/events and to promote usage of social media channels, while maximizing social media presence.
- Liaise with PR/Social Media agencies whenever required to facilitate business requirements and ensure that activities are carried out as per the established standards and guidelines.
- Highlight insights gathered from social media platforms and provide feedback to the teams, to support in executing activities in line with operational strategies.
- Prepare and provide periodic reports to the senior management pertaining to social media effectiveness and specific campaigns, which will facilitate decision making processes.
- Keep abreast of latest of social media tools, trends and applications for the purpose of aligning it to current systems and controls

Information Security
- Adherence to the information security policies/processes/program and for reporting any security breaches or incidents to the direct management.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for the continuous improvement of departmental systems, policies, processes and practices considering ‘international leading practices’ to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
- Provide critical input to support the development of Department’s systems, policies, processes, and procedures to meet business requirements.
- Ensure team members comply with all Department’s policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
.
Quality, Health, Security, Safety and Environment
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and relevant quality, health, safety, security and environmental procedures and controls across the Department to guarantee employee safety and delivery of high-quality services.
Reporting
- Prepare reports in a timely and accurate manner to meet the departmental requirements, policies and standards.
Others
- Other relevant tasks of the job purpose when, and if required

Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree OR 3-year Diploma in Marketing or a relevant field from a recognized university
- Master’s Degree in Marketing or a relevant field from a recognized university is preferred
Minimum Experience and Skills
- 3 - 5 years of experience in Social Media/Digital and/or marketing operations position
- High command of English & Arabic (reading, spoken, written)
- Experience in the UAE is a must
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of latest trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy
- Knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios
- Knowledge of social media optimization techniques
- Experience in writing and developing content for social media
